How can you stay motivated on a diet?

Enjoy the control: I think it's important to not expect to lose weight too rapidly. Shoot for 1 pound a week. Weigh yourself every morning when you get up, before you eat or drink anything to keep tract of normal fluctuations in weight. Liberate your diet now and then when you start to see some progress as a reward but know that you are in control.

No drastic dieting: If you are a drastic dieter - that may be hard to do. However if you are physically active & make healthy food selections it may not be such a challenge. Think about how healthy you will be in the long run, & get pleasure from the short run.
