How many days ?: And how difficult was the extraction? Was it a periodontally involved tooth that was loose, or a wisdom tooth that required cutting bone? Two very different extractions, and your post does not give any clues. If you are uncomfortable, regardless of the above answers, call your dentist for specific guidance.
