Weight Training: Physicians are faced with this question frequently, especially in the vegan community. But, to us it makes very little sense. You need protein. The majority of your calories should come from protein. There are non-animal proteins and there are non-animal supplements. The only way to stay healthy, let alone build muscles is through ingesting appropriate amounts of protein.
