Neither: Lean meats, eggs, low fat cottage cheese and white fish or shellfish are more balanced in their Amino Acid content, and much less expensive than whey supplements. Vegetable sources do not even come close to the Amino Acid composition of human muscle, although they are a good source of fiber. But which would you rather look like, a vegetarian primate like a sloth, or a carnivore like a cheetah?
