May require polish: In many cases, discolored bonding can be polished to remove superficial staining. See your dentist to determine if it is just staining or a breakdown of the marginal seal.

Easily fixed.: Tooth colored restorations are usually very color stable. The material is usually a mixture of porcelain and resin. The binder in the resin can sometimes stain over time. Some foods you eat and liquids you drink can also cause the material to stain faster. The restoration can sometimes be simply resurfaced and can always be replaced. Please see your dentist for treatment options.

Options: The older materials did not hold up as well as more recent composite materials. See if the bonding can be polished, touched up or needs to be replaced altogether. Also, depending upon the size and location of the bonding, whether a porcelain onlay or ceramic crown would be a better long term option.
