Varies: Replacing meat from your diet may not be the best solution. You should remember that protein shakes have lots of other 'ingredients' other than protein. They will have carbohydrates, among a plethora of other things. Talk to your doctor or a nutritionist at your local gym to decide which is best for your goals. If the goal is purely to strengthen muscle, simply drinking protein won't work.
