Hard to say: If it's bad. It depends on what's in the protein shake (besides protein--usually from milk, soy or egg) and what else you are eating. Shakes have different ingredients, and the best ingredient to put in your body, in my opinion, is fresh, real food. This is what our bodies really need. It's good that you are taking care of your body in the gym! be sure to eat well, too.
