Probably not: Cin is a lesion induced by viral infection (hpv) and is precancerous. If left untreated, it may progress to cervical cancer so close attention to future pap smears after treatment is important. Usually treatment does not affect the ability to have children. Hpv cannot be eradicated but the lesions it may produce can be removed with a laser, conization, or a loop electrode (leep).

CIN: Cin 1, 2, and 3 are grades of cervical dysplasia (cancer cells, but not enough to call it cancer). Most patients are more comfortable with the term precancer. It won't prevent pregnancy to have cin2. Two recommendations though: 1. If you smoke, stop. 2. Condom use for 1 year with a stable partner has about a 70% chance of eliminating active hpv, the virus that causes your abnormal pap.
