A member asked:

Also if a partial hysterctomy is recommended in a few years because of tumors called fibrous something. could nausea and vomiting result from that?

No: Hysterectomy does not cause nausea and vomiting, other than perhaps for a short period after anesthesia in some patients. The fibroids themselves can cause constipation and may contribute to nausea if they are very large.

No: Fibrous tumors of the uterus do not cause nausea and vomiting. The can cause pelvic preside and pain. Sometimes if they are very large, they can block the ureters ( the tubes that drain the kidneys) or compress the colon causing constipation and gas pain. Theoretically, a blocked ureters can cause a lot of pain with nausea, but that is a very rare presentation.
