Some people get post gallbladder surgery symptoms of nausea and vomiting. It is called Post-cholecystectomy Syndrome. It can eventually subside on its own but often is due to stones in the Common Bile Duct or a remnant of the cystic duct. The patient needs to follow-up with the surgeon and see if they need another procedure to remove the stones or the cystic duct remnant.
