Not normal: Were your ovaries left behind? If not, this is almost certainly gastrointestinal in origin. Either way, it is not normal and is something for which you need to see your doctor and be evaluated. At 50, a screening colonoscopy is recommended for all low risk patients and you are almost there. Hope you are feeling better soon.
