See a dentist first: Symptoms of facial pain including the gums will tend to lead me to think of a dental infection possibly related to periodontal disease or a large cavity into the nerve. Find a dentist from recommendations from friends. Until then, over the counter pain medication and better oral hygiene should manage. If its not dentally related, a medical physician should help.
