I confessed to my doc i've been abusing my ritalin (methylphenidate) and am gonna start counseling. the other day i took 60mg and only felt exhausted and tired. why?

Likely tolerance: Drugs that affect the brain can produce tolerance.This means that the receptors in the brain become less sensitive after high doses of the drug. It then takes more & more of the drug to get the same effect. I hope the counseling you are entering is a drug abuse counseling program.
