I used to take ritalin (methylphenidate). i would take a break from them and would experience extrem fatigue, nausea and brain fog for a few days. why did this happen?

Ritalin (methylphenidate): Methyl Phenidate is a stimulant, and being off of it can lead to withdrawal symptoms from lowering of excess adrenaline, as you described physically. Such symptoms are usually mild & short-lasting.
