Punched in mouth?: I don't know of precise statistics measuring this scenario, but a subdural hematoma can develop with any head injury. Manifestations of this vary. If you've been assaulted, please see a physician for help. If you're in a domestic violence situation, your ongoing welfare needs attention also. http://www.helpguide.org/mental/domestic_violence_abuse_help_treatment_prevention.htm.

Not necessarily: Getting punched in the mouth does not necessarily mean that one will get a subdural hematoma. The possible rotational forces that are generated can tear a subdural vein that can then bleed. However, statistically there are a lot more people that get punched in the mouth than have subdural hematomas. Certainly, if there are symptoms of headache, lethargy, nausea--medical attention should be sought.
