The issues are separate but seem contradictory. One statement relates to a blood collection in the space underneath the brain covering layer. The other statement implies that no injury to the working brain tissue occurred. Normocephalic just means the shape is normal. Atraumatic means there is no evidence of trauma. I would discuss this with the ordering doc, it is confusing.

Subdural hematomas are usually caused by trauma. I do not understand what the doctor is saying, but often you will not see evidence of head trauma on an imaging study if the trauma is mild. Probably nothing needs to be done at this point if daughter is feeling well and does not experience headache.
