A member asked:

Can a subdural hematoma happen with mild head injury?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

In a healthy younger person, common, not infrequent, mild head injuries would not be expected to cause intracranial bleeding. Those at highest risk are older, especially those with brain atrophy, possess bleeding disorders, such as hemophilia, or thrombocytopenia, take anti-coagulants or anti-platelet drugs, or have high-impact head trauma.
