Every day=Valentines: Yes, and there are now many types (and percentages) available. Yet, in excess, any food can affect physical (and dental) health adversely and can cause weight gain or "crowd out" more nutritious foods. If purchased by others, share it with them. If purchased by oneself, buy small amounts of the better brands and enjoy an ounce or two. I prefer more than 60% dark chocolate (not chocolate-flavored candy) ;{}.

>70%: If your chocolate is less that 70% cocoa, it is dessert. If it is >70%, it is therapeutic in small quantities. Chocolate is usually very high in saturated fat, which is why you should only eat small quantities.

Depends: Dark chocolate is made from cocoa powder, sugar & milk. Less milk, the darker chocolate. Cocoa powder has many psychoactive ingredients: theophyllines, anandamides, but particularly 2-phenylethylamine (pea). If these are absorbed, tachycardia, seizures, hypertension, cardiac arrhythmia, can occur in susceptible individuals. People on stimulant medication should not use cocoa powder in any form.
