A member asked:

What is the likelihood of developing precancerous cells on my cervix?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

High: Most precancerous changes are caused by the hpv virus which is present at some time in 80% of sexually active women's lives. It is important to wear condoms, to consider getting the hpv vaccine before you become sexually active, and continue yearly visits with your gyn.
