A member asked:

What treatment is the best for removing pre-cancerous cells in the cervix?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Resection: Affected part of the cervix may be removed in small resections, guided by colposcopy, more widespread lesions may be resected by removing a cone of cervix and if childbearing is not an issue and the lesion is worrisome, the whole uterus, including the cervix may be resected.
