Plugged ears: If you have allergies treating them may help. Topical nasal steroids may offer some benefit as well. If no improvement in the next 6-8 weeks i would see your ENT doc. They may discuss the role of tubes.

I've had glue ear for a month since sinus surgery. Eust tubes feel glued shut all the time. As a commercial pilot, i can't get them to clear. Ent has tried prednisone, now he's on vacation. Advice?!
ENT suggested I use nasal irrigation to help with eustachian tube dysfunction and now feels like fluid is stuck behind eardrum with tremendous pain and pressure. Eardrum has small perforation but pressure pain remains. Is there a way to clear it?
