Several posibilities: May mean pregnancy, fibroids, and a variety of other issues. Why not ask the doctor who made this diagnosis and discuss the options at length? Good luck.

Depends : If you are having normal regular periods then a bulky uterus is not important. Ask your doctor what they meant by bulky? Does this mean you have fibroids or adenomyosis. Without knowing more then it is difficult to answer. I suspect at age 20 that the doctor meant it just felt a little large but was not concerned unless follow up testing was ordered.
