Volumetric studies: This a female at 28yo who underwent a volumetric studies that showed a small polyp. In a routine studies, no intervention is needed. However, if this finding was obtained in an infertility patient, it is prudent to remove the polyp via an operative hysteroscopy to optimize endometrial cavity for implantation and pregnancy.

Probably not: If the endometrial polyp was small (less than 1 cm), if you do not have a personal or family history of GI or Gyn tumors, if your menstrual and obstetrical histories are normal (fairly regular menses, multiparty, no Infertility, no PCOS...) if you are not overweight or obese ...there is little cause for alarm. Your polyp is probably benign and it may regress and even disappear spontaneously.
