Adenomyosis: It is impossible for any physician to tell what is causing the back pain from a forum such as this. You should rely on your doctor's exam and judgement. If you dot agree with him/her, it is reasonable to get a second opinion. Adenomyosis can cause back pain. It is also very difficult to cure without a hysterectomy.
