Really strep?: If your son has been tested appropriately and diagnosed with strep pharyngitis (strep throat), the dosage of Amoxicillin is 875 mg 2 times a day for 10 days. Please verify with your child's pediatrician that your son is not allergic to Amoxicillin prior to giving any medication.
