Probably not: There are at least 6 different subtypes of fsgs (focal-segmental glomerulosclerosis) that pathologists can distinguish; you have a right to know which kind and the likely outcome. It's likely to be a lifetime problem and if you need the surgery & it's okay with your physicians, this might be the best time to do it. Good luck.
