Depends: Pain after lumbar fusion is not unusual. Further work up is determined by the specifics of the case. How bad was your pain and symptoms before surgery? Did they improve after surgery and now is suddenly getting bad? How long ago was your surgery? Is pain different? Spondylolisthesis: What surgery did you have? It would goog to revisist with your surgeon. There can be degenerative changes in your spine as a result of the surgery or other changes. It is best to be examined and then reimaged.
