Breast pain is commo: Breast pain is very common. Pain is associated with cancer rarely. I would be much more concerned if you have an abnormality that is lump like that you could point at with one finger.

You can try: Ibuprofen or Acetaminophen otc for pain relief. If that is not helpful, consult your doctor again. You might even have infection if you have a fever.
