Alternatives GERD: A good alternative daily recipe for acid reflux: 1/4 tsp baking soda 1 tbsp honey 2 tbsp aloe vera juice 1/8 tsp virgin coconut oil in 4 oz of water. Ginger is also good for promoting digestion. Of course, avoiding things that worsen reflux such as caffeine, fatty foods, chocolate, alcohol or nicotine is key as well.
