Previously treated for acid reflux in 2019 and suspect i might have triggered the disease again recently by having a lot of lemons in hot water. currently on a prescription of pantoprazole 40mg for the last two weeks with little improvements.

Dry cough: This may be an asthma equivalent, that is a persistent cough without associated wheezing or sputum production. A bronchodilator, corticosteroid combination inhaler would help that type of cough. If you think it's reflux, avoid alcohol, caffeine, nicotine and continue the pantoprazole. If not improved, consult a pulmonologist for evaluation and advice.
