My right ear produced more wax than my left recently. why would that be, and is it cause for concern in any way? my hearing overall is fine.

Not to worry: Ear wax is a very personal thing. Some folks make lots and some not so much. Differences between ears does not mean much especially if you feel fine, have no symptoms, and can hear okay. Do be careful if you choose to clean your ears, and not use anything that can injure the ear canal or eardrum. If a problem ear wax can be removed with gentle irrigation.

Worry not: This is something i can tell you is something you do not have to worry about now, tommorow or ever. Leave your ear canals alone and clean wax only when it appears on the very outside of your ear.
