I noticed a faint ringing in my left ear last night. seemed to come from nowhere. no injury or pain. it's filling me with anxiety. i have no other symptoms. could it just be from wax or allergies. doesn't seem to have affected my hearing.

Tinnitus: is a condition associated w/ringing, whistling, or other sounds in the ear. This is a remote possibility. Please see your doc. It may be an ear infection or the need to have the wax removed from your ears. Peace and good health.
