Therapy: Seek a therapist who specializes in anxiety treatment. Exposure based therapy is a well validated treatment where you are helped to learn how to experience the initial sensations of panic, not run from those feelings, relax in the face of them (sounds impossible but can be done), and develop skills for dealing with them.
