Would B Debilitating: By design our bodies have an adrenal gland above both kidneys. The adrenals produce+release hormones that regulate vital body functions- like maintaining the balance of salts in the blood, blood volume & pressure; preparing body 4 stress; etc. If one gland were removed, these vital functions wouldn't be totally compromised. If both were removed, w/out hormone replacement, the person would die.
