Get an evaluation: The first step is a comprehensive evaluation from a Psychiatrist, to determine an accurate diagnosis. If you do indeed have panic disorder, there are many medication treatments and therapy treatments that are very effective and safe. The goal should be decrease of panic and return to normal functioning.

1. Get evaluation. : 2. If you can find a quiet place - do so. Breath in slowly; deeply through your nostrils. Fill your lungs with air (but not to the point of discomfort). Hold for a count of five then slowly begin to exhale through an open mouth. Repeat at least 12 times, longer if you need to. 3. Try to take less crowded roads until your panic attacks are under better control.
