Exercise Can Help: Proper nutrition and consistent exercise can significantly help with anxiety and panic. Usually exercise is part of an overall treatment program that includes therapy aimed at developing new ways of coping with feelings of anxiety. There is no question that helping your physical conditioning can help your emotional state.

Exercise can Help: However, exercise alone oftentimes is not enough. Panic attacks are the result of an over activation in the part of your brain that controls your fight or flight response. Psychotherapy and medications are the mainstays of treatment. I recommend seeking help from a professional such as a psychiatrist or licensed therapist.
