Yellow Teeth: A dentist thorough cleaning and then a whitening procedure will generally get your best results f taking out whatever yellowing that is not normal to your particular deeper tooth structure.

Yes: Yellow teeth can gerally be bleached better than the grayish tinted teeth. Have your teeth photographed before and after to see the change. Many people don't believe the change.

Yes.: Whitening in the dentist's chair can give quick results, but the best result and the longest lasting is home whitening using a tray custom-made by your dentist with a professional whitening gel (provided by your dentist- not available in stores).

Absolutely: Tooth whitening can make dramatic difference in color and brightness of teeth (not caps or veneers). Many in-office and at-home systems are available, and there is no best "one size fits all." work with your dentist to choose the best system for your individual needs. You'll be glad you did.

Yes: You can have dramatic results in lightening your teeth if you have yellow teeth. Of course, if the yellow is caused by old, stained tooth colored fillings, the whitening product does not whiten the filling material and you would need to have the filling replaced with a lighter filling. A thorough evaluation by a dentist should answer all your questions.

Definitely yes: Aside from extrinsic and intrinsic stains, the other factor can contribute to yellow teeth is genetics. Make sure to visit your dentist for a thorough cleaning and professional in-office teeth whitening for a great result.
