Every : Every patient's enamel reacts differently to zoom. Sometimes each tooth will have some varaition seen as white "splotches". This can be either a temporary dehydration that will reverse or some imperfection (hypocalcification) that will remain. Try not to be too critical and look for the overall improvement in the color. If it remains and it bothers you consult with your doc and see if bonding or some other conservative cosmetic procedure would help.

Between 2 to 5 weeks: Some areas of enamel have less calcium called decalcification. These areas become much whiter than normal enamel after in office teeth whitening. This happens because of dehydration of teeth during the procedure. It takes between 10 days to 5 weeks for the white patchy color to look better.

Usually 2-5 days: The "splotchy white marks" are because the enamel in those areas of your tooth are decalcified. Decalcified tooth structure dehydrates very easily resulting in white spots! you can correct this with cosmetic bonding to mask out the white spots so the entire tooth looks the same throughout! this is an easy and affordable procedure that usually takes and hour or so!

Dehydration : Sounds like dehydration and should resolve on it's own with no permanent changes. Don't sweat it!
