My 14 year old daughter has had yellow looking teeth all her life . she has excellent oral hygiene., so i dont understand why . no meds, no medical issues . can professional whitening make a real difference and is she old enough ?

See a dentist: Discoloration could have come from several origins including foods or drinks she is using. Her dentist will evaluate the cause and determine if whitening will help, and which type of system will,work best for her. The OTC whitening products will not harm her teeth.

Normal: Yellow looking is not really yellow .Pigmentation can cause tooth to appear white or even yellow. If it is bothering her than bleaching will help her emotionally, keep up the good hygiene.
