A member asked:

Is it true that heart trivial valve regurgitation on echo (on any valve) is a normal finding, especially in people over 60 years of age? some doctors are even saying diastolic dysfunction grade 1 is normal for seniors, who don't have heart disease?

I don’t think I would use the term “normal finding” for the findings on echo you mention. But, there would likely be no specific treatment for these findings so perhaps that is what the doctor interpreting the test meant by this? You should probably be followed by a cardiologist for these finding to monitor them. So, see a cardiologist who will monitor these findings. Good luck!
