Constant colon inflammation but only when i eat meat. doctors just say is diverticulitis but have no other answers about any treatment. any suggestions as to what could cause this. could it be a protein allergy that just suddenly developed 39yr male?

Have you been seen by a GI doctor? Has a colonoscopy with biopsies been done? Doing a colonoscopy and biopsies of any area that looks inflamed would be helpful to give a diagnosis that is more specific. Specific treatment can be pursued once a more specific diagnosis is made so see a GI doctor to pursue further evaluation. Good luck to you!
