I am having a CT colonography due to chronic constipation & pencil stools. Will this show IBD, such as Crohn's/Colitis as well as colon/rectal cancer?
On my colon biopsy it shows benign colonic mucosa with moderately increased chronic inflammation in the lamina propria with an increase in lymphoid aggregates. The report also says no evidence of IBD or microscopic colitis. Is this a normal finding?

I had a ct scan and it was all good but it did say mild thickening of the wall of the mid sigmoid colon, probably due to muscular hypertrophy. What does this mean and is it serious? Went in to check for diverticulitis and I had a very mild case?
My recent CT scan says, "Bowel Structures: There is mild thickening to the sigmoid colon likely due to incomplete distention rather than colitis. There's no small bowel obstruction." Should I be concerned? Advise is greatly appreciated. Thank you?
