What to do? diagnosed severe arthritis of jaw. what can be done? what type dr to see? much pain in ears, nose and jaw. dentist said nothing can be done?

Of course something can be done! Your primary care physician would be appropriate for osteoarthritis, the most likely cause. She might refer you to an orthopedist or ENT to consider steroid injection into the jaw joint(s). Or in some cases a rheumatologist (arthritis specialist). In the meantime, try acetaminophen or a non steroidal anti-inflammatory drug like naproxen (Aleve and other brands).
