TMJ arthralgia : Based upon symptoms alone this sounds like temporomandibular joint (TMJ) arthralgia. If this has been persistent for months I would recommend an evaluation by either a dentist, oral surgeon, or otolaryngologist. Usually warm compresses, soft diet, and NSAID use help reduce or resolve the symptoms if it is the joint.
