A member asked:

Does an mri always show all internal structures of the hip/groin? if a person has groin pain but mri looks normal is this enough reason for further investigations such as arthroscopy ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

This depends on the symptoms, clinical findings of the examiner. In general with a normal MRI it is not done
