What does mild degenerative changes in spine mean and the cause? is it normal or is this really serious? im 30 yrs old and they found it on my pelvis mri bc i was having pain.

Old age: Simply put its seen with normal aging of the spine. By itself it means nothing unless you have symptoms. At your age we would have to ask if other members have this at an early age. Also what your occupation is to see if this is a contributor.

Intermittent Severe lower back pain and left leg radiating pain that worsens with rest and improves with activity. X-ray showed Lumbar spine facet degenerative changes. Is that normal in 40-year-old who is active and normal weight? is MRI needed?
Can mild sclerosis of sacroiliac joint (due to degeneration or however it was noted) be seen on spine X-ray but be missed on pelvic MRI? My X-ray showed sclerosis but my MRI didnt pick it up. Thank you?
