A member asked:

Is it possible for a female to grow 2-3 inches taller after age 35? can you have another growth spurt at that time after 10-15 years of no height change? any medical conditions or hormone changes that could cause that much growth at that age?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

We are taught to never say never in medicine because there are occasional oddities that arise. True linear growth (stature) ends when the growth centers close, which in females is ~ 3 years after first menses. Closed growth centers don't re-open to allow more growth.
