A 16-year-old male asked:

I am 16 yrs old and my height is 5'2 . my father is 5'7 and mother is 4'11. will i grow atleast 5'5 ? i have growth hormone deficiency and i took injections for 4 years then i started homeopathic medicine at the age of 11. what should i do now ?

Normally, in a healthy adolescent with good nutrition and few serious illnesses, you can expect to approximate the same gender parent. In Males, puberty ends 3-5 years after it starts. (usually around 17). Your GH injections have brought you to a height of 5'2", you may expect to grow at least 1-2 inches in the next year. Avoid illnesses and eat a diet rich in protein.
