Variations in cortisol can cause significant changes in estrogen and thyroid hormones. A deficiency in cortisol can reflexively cause decreases in thyroid hormone, and elevation in serum estrogen levels. Get a referral to an endocrinologist, as treatments are complicated and best evaluated by same.
