Currently taking 25mg of metoprolol er. heart rate is in mid 90s, bp sits around 104/74 resting. should i stop the metoprolol due to low bp? when i skip a dose my hr stays around 110-120bpm. are there any meds that lower hr but not bp?

No, blood pressure (BP) of 107/74 is perfect. You can continue the medication unless BP is less than 90/60 or you become symptomatic (lightheadedness, fatigue, etc.) with systolic pressure (SP) is less than 100. A mean arterial pressure, MAP, of 70 or above (MAP = SP plus 2 times of diastolic pressure (DP) divided by 3) is safe unless you are symptomatic then allow the SP above 100. Good luck.
